Smugmug Photo Viewer

MagONE screen shot
MagONE is a smugmug photo viewer developed in Adobe Flex. You can use it to view and show your own smugmug public photos on any web site you can add HTML code to. Just see this page for more information on how to get and embed your own viewer. The viewer can also be added to most of the popular social networking sites so you can show off you photos to all you friends.

Apr 08 - A new feature was added that now allows click through from the currently displayed photo to the associated SmugMug album page with the clicked picture as the current selection. This was a feature I was thinking about, but not sure exactly how to implement it so I have used feedback I have been getting to finally decide how this would work - so thanks very much for the input and suggestions.

MagONE

MagONE is a flash based "widget" that you can embed into any web site, well at least most of them. It will display the public photos from a selected public album from your Smugmug account. All you need to do is supply you Smugmug nickname. The MagONE widget shown here is connected to my Smugmug account and is sized at w:320 x h:340.But the size can be almost anything you want, obviously the display of the images will be affected by the size at which you set the widget.

May 08 New Version MagONE+
I now have an alternative version of this app with different feature, see here for more details.

Want a customised version?
If you would like the widget customised then it can be done, you can see an example of this here. If you are interested in customisation then please contact me. For more details on what can be carried out in a standard customisation please see the document attached to the bottom of this article - "MagONE customisation document".

Anyone with a Smugmug account can use MagONE to display a slideshow of their photos in their public albums. I have provided an application below that can help embed the widget into many sites (this will embed at the size of the widget you see on this page), or you copy and paste the <embed> code into a web page and change the width and the height values to suit.

You smugmug nickname:

To use this widget replace the nickname showing above with your Smugmug nickname and then press the update button. This should update MagONE and allow you to view your own albums and photos. If this works you can use the tool shown below to add it to any of the listed sites, or just copy the code displayed and add it to your site.

If you want to try out Smugmug just use this code 2c0dIVVrnB2oo in the email/coupon field when you sign up (its free for 14 days WITHOUT the need to supply credit card details) then if you do decide to continue you get $ 5 off the subscription cost.
