Photos not showing up in slideshow

If you are using MagONE and you cannot see any photos then this may answer the question.
If you set the security on a gallery so that you disable external links (Ext Links option) then the photos within that gallery will not be accessible ( at least I have found this with IE7, for some reason Firefox seems to work anyway).
This seems to indicate that the IE behaviour is correct and somehow FireFox seems to ignore the security setting ( or though it may be something to do with the Flash browser plug-in as well)
